Extensive site-design experience means we only build equipment that works
SCG is a leader in the design, manufacture and implementation of in-situ remediation systems for projects involving hydrocarbon contamination. SCG specializes in the optimization of remediation systems. Our primary target markets within North America include the remediation contractors, although our clientele consisting of federal and state / provincial government agencies, insurance companies, engineering and environmental consulting firms, general contracting and construction companies, private industrial and commercial property owners.
SCG has an established reputation amongst American, Canadian, and Caribbean environmental companies, for the site-design, manufacture, rentals & leasing, services, and performance optimization of remediation solutions. Our knowledge and technical support for environmental remediation products and services is based upon years of experience and research and development efforts in the fields of hydrogeology, geology, and mechanical and electrical design.
SCG knows that "aggressive remediation technology alone does not guarantee success - only continuous optimization will ensure the success of a project, and a satisfied client" - that is why SCG offers a full-line of in-situ remediation products and services.

Technologies and Services
SCG's products and services are designed to meet, or exceed, industry standards while providing excellent value for their customers. SCG is committed to offering the latest in innovative technologies in the essential and expanding field of environmental remediation.
SCG Industries provides pilot-scale field testing, interpretation of field results, equipment selection and sizing. Installation, commissioning, technical support, maintenance, and monitoring is supplied for all equipment and systems.
SCG is equipped with full scale and pilot scale remediation equipment, available for lease or rental.
SCG specializes in customized turn-key remediation systems specific to petroleum based and other chemical contaminants ideal for in-situ product recovery, groundwater treatment and soil remediation.
SCG Remediation Services provides the experience gained in extensive field operations, system design, and manufacturing, in an attempt to service our client's needs (over 200 MPVE projects).
SCG personnel will assist in defining testing protocol as well as data collection procedures. Each pilot scale test unit is site specific, and is provided with any combination of liquid and/or vapor treatment options.
System optimization is the most critical aspect of any remediation project. Our full scale system operation and maintenance is ensured by remote monitoring and/or regular site visits.
SCG actively participates in system design and associated piping design by utilizing air flow, liquid flow, as well as site limitations obtained from pilot scale testing and site monitoring, to maximize the remediation objectives put forth with minimal equipment expense.
Pilot or full scale systems can be leased or rented and can include a performance rated contract based on contaminant recovery, along with the operation and maintenance of the system.
Success Stories
National Paint Manufacturer
Challenge: Existing remediation system running for the last ten years, site conditions include free phase product in fractured bedrock, with a plume that extends underneath the paint manufacturing facility
Response: SCG, in conjunction with the client, proposed a pay-for-performance aggressive in-situ remediation plan – then conducted a pilot, installed the system, performed periodic system optimization…the project was completed in less than 12 months, the client received closure, and the cost was under budget
Active US military facility located in the Northeast
Challenge: Demonstrate to potential client SCG Industries’ high level of service and technical ability --- in order that we could win the contract to fulfill the task requirements of this high profile, technically challenging, high level hydrocarbon impacted site
Response: Conducted an MPVE / Sparge (combined) pilot test with the engineering consultant, then assisted in the interpretation of the data and the development of the pipe and equipment design
New Hampshire Superfund site
Challenge: Maximum recovery of oil while limiting ground water recovery to 20,000 gallons / month (average of "20 weight" oil)
Response: Installed system that considered the viscosity of oil, control over the tube locations and vacuum intensity, then successfully recovered more than 75,000 USG of oil
High security military facility
Challenge: In a short time-frame, design a system flexible enough to obtain adequate “pilot test” information from three wells while remaining small enough to operate within the electrical limitations of a 30 amp, 480V power supply
Response: Designed a compact/mobile system capable of a range of vacuum and airflow volumes to perform the work, as well as a transfer of liquids, which resulted in a low maintenance system, with off-gas treatment, that drew less than 30 amps
